This initiative is made possible thanks to the support of Toyota Motor Europe, through the Toyota Fund for Europe.

The Environment and Innovation project relies on organisations working together to make the initiative successful.

Development and Implementation

The project is developed and implemented by the International Eco-Schools programme of the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE). National FEE Member organisations implement Eco-Schools in Denmark,  Latvia, Slovenia and Turkey developing the project, in cooperation with local Toyota retailers.

Institutional Support

  • United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP);
  • Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (Intelligent Energy Europe Programme / EC);
  • European Commission – DG Transport and Energy;
  • European Environment Agency;
  • British Council.

In addition to providing information and materials on relevant environmental themes, these organizations sit on jury panels as well as offer a series of prizes and distinctions to schools submitting the most innovative projects.
